Using Virtual Instruments AUD-120Using Virtual Instruments focuses on using various virtual instruments to create music or for sound design and MIDI manipulation using VST 3.5. This is a 4-week course that meets every Tuesday 6-9pm. The course is taught by Carlos Chafin and Andrea Stefl. There is a limit of 10 students.
Using Plug-ins for Audio Processing AUD-121Using Plug-ins for Audio Processing focuses on using various plug-ins to manipulate, correct and enhance audio. This is a 4-week course that meets every Thursday 6-9pm. The course is taught by Carlos Chafin and Andrea Stefl. There is a limit of 10 students.
Location Audio Basics AV-120Location Audio Basics focuses on properly recording audio on the set of a movie, TV or commercial shoot. This is a 4-week course that meets every Monday 6-9pm. The course is taught by Carlos Chafin, Andrea Stefl and guest lecturers. There is a limit of 10 students.
Foley and Basic Sound Design Techniques AV-121Foley and Basic Sound Design Techniques covers replacing and enhancing sound FX for movies, TV and games. Foley history, tools, techniques and recording are all covered. This is a 4-week course that meets every Wednesday 6-9pm. The course is taught by Andrea Stefl and there is a limit of 10 students.
The following courses run from July 11, 2011 till August 4th. Each class meets once a week for 3 hours. The course can be paid for online up until the classes start on July 11. Students also have the option of paying early in either cash or check at a discounted rate.
